Another food post! Why not? It’s something that we deal with every day. And math is something we SHOULD be dealing with every day. The food for today’s discussion is Cheerios. They may not be everyone’s favorite cereal (I personally like Captain Crunch) but I have yet to meet a child who won’t eat them. If you have that one child, then never fear. They can still learn math this way and then feed them to the dog!

There are few books that can help you get started. These books use cheerios to finish patterns, practice counting, and to grouping.
The most basic of the Cheerios series.

A perfect gift for Halloween! My daughter got it for Halloween from us instead of candy, for her 2nd Halloween. She still reads it and does the Cheerios math!
